June 2025 - Home Updates
Everything we completed in June essentially laid the foundation for the entire summer. Hours of trim touch ups, painting, yard cleanup, weeding, and sketching out ideas for long term improvements. The entire outside yard, will continue to be a work in progress until further notice. This month began with picking out roof colors from Landmark CertainTeed. I decided that black would make my home feel timeless and modern. I also had to apply to the borough for a roofing permit. For more security we installed another Ring camera outside. It was a small upgrade that keeps the property feeling secure and cared for. One of my favorite finds this month was Mid Mod Decor, right down the street. I met the owner and her son, and their collection of mid-century modern finds. Supporting local small businesses that align with my vision for intentional design-forward spaces makes living here even more meaningful. My mom and I spent a full day on the Bucks Beautiful Kitchen & Garden Tour, exploring 6 incredible homes across Richboro, Newtown, New Hope, and Doylestown Pennsylvania. From unique gardens to unique kitchen layouts, it was a fun experience! We also went antique shopping in Hatboro, which is always one of my favorite ways to spend the day. I love finding pieces with history that unintentionally work perfect in my home.
